Sodium Hypochlorite Liquid 14% to 15% full strength, highly concentrated, active chlorine bleach in 20 litre vented plastic drums.
Bought by commercial laundries, launderettes and dry cleaners because it is a very powerful bleach agent and laundry stain remover. In particular, it is very effective at removing food and drink stains on whitework such as table linen and napkins.
Use Sodium Hypochlorite Liquid 14% to 15% to remove stubborn stains ONLY on whites. Do not use on colours because it may cause colour lift.
In addition, apply it to cotton textiles only. Do not apply it to non-cotton items or delicate fabrics such as silks and wools because it will damage these fibres.
Add to main hot wash between 40 and 60 degrees Celsius, in addition to regular detergent. Your washing powder or liquid detergent will help prevent stains from being redeposited on textiles during the washing cycle.
Also referred to as liquid bleach, or just bleach, the recommended dosage is 5 to 10ml per kg of laundry.
Only add Sodium Hypochlorite to the separate drawer of your washing machine drawer or hopper marked for stain removal booster or bleach. Consult your washing machine manual if in doubt to confirm correct drawer to use.
If your washing machine does not have a separate drawer for stain removal products, simply add Sodium Hypochlorite on top of textiles in the drum.
Never add Sodium Hypochlorite to the same drawer as washing powder because you will just end up with gloopy washing powder.
Used also as a very effective patio cleaner because it removes little black marks that appear on patios.
In addition, it is very good as a moss remover, helping clear moss, algae and weeds from patios. However, be very careful and always apply it first to a small discreet area to check there is no discolouring.
